Capitalism's Fatal Flaw, and the Way Forward: November 2023

THE WORST THING ABOUT CAPITALISM – Global Strategic Hypotheses.

Dear Reader,

Global Strategic Hypotheses. First off, let’s keep cognizant of the ineluctable ‘intra-duality’ of capitalism, by noting capitalism’s other side – by noting what is best about capitalism.

What is best about capitalism is its early, hot-house growth of human-social productivity and ‘self-productivity’; the way the industrial ‘capital-praxis’ – the profit-seeking praxis – leads, unintentionally, to the growth of machine-assisted human production, through the pursuit of “relative surplus-value” [Marx], which builds the potential – and the partial actualization – of freedom from poverty and want, by its massive acceleration of global goods-production, and the diminution of the per unit-good cost, in human living-time devoted to the labor of production, laying the foundation for free time for human flourishing for all, not just free time for the depredations of a tiny “elite” of exploiters and repressors of everyone else.

In the process, the ‘capital-praxis’ lays the foundation for a global human community of high per capita wealth and richness-of-life, by building -- for profitable trade -- a global infrastructure of transportation and communication, as well as of inter-cultural cooperation and enrichment, that, once freed from a narrow and obsessive devotion to ‘profitism’, can accrue to all citizens in an eventual and voluntary planetary federation of no-longer-warring, no-longer-imperializing nation-states – to what we call a political-economic-democratic ‘planetary polis’.

What is worst about capitalism is that, after its ‘‘‘ascendence phase’’’ – in its ‘descendence phase’, here on Earth since around 1900 – it splits its own ruling class, and asymmetrically favors preponderant power to its nightmare faction; to its ‘capitalist anti-capitalist’, ‘human anti-humanist’, anti-progress -- anti-productive-forces-growth, pro-productive-forces-growth reversal – ruling class faction, and not as matter of contingency, but as a consequence of capitalism’s very ‘‘‘DNA’’’.

Capitalist political-economy’s ‘‘‘ascendence phase’’’ drives itself into its ‘descendence-phase’, not as a matter of "chance", not as an "accident", but as a “lawful” consequence of the essential dynamic of the capitalist system.

Capitalism “lawfully” grows, as its finality, not merely “contingently”, a ‘‘‘humanocidal’’’ ruling class faction, one that seeks to exterminate – per their own public pronouncements here on Earth – 95% of the human species, as THE[ir] “solution” to their “problems” of capitalism: their ‘FINAL “SOLUTION” TO THE[ir] HUMANITY PROBLEM’.

The capitalist ruling class perhaps first begins to feel “pressed into a corner” during “The Great Deflation” of the late 1800s, when the unprecedented productivity of machine industry drove a technological deflation, driving down the prices of – and the profits on – machine produced goods in general, in a way like was last seen in the consumer electronics/personal computer markets late in the last century.

Profits suffered, in particular, due to the rapid evolution of high-productivity, machinery technology made the competitive life, of – expensive – machinery-based means of production, shorter and shorter, because yesterday’s state-of-the-art machinery became obsolete, unprofitable scrap metal today.

The recurring and accelerating technological obsolescence of individual machines and of massive machine production complexes meant that the unrecovered original cost of obsoleted machinery had to be “written off” – subtracted from current gross profits -- thus tanking industrial-capitalist net profit rates, and even, more and more, inducing negative profitability [losses]. AND: the debt service on any bank loans used to purchase that obsolete, scrapped machinery still had to be paid.

Bankruptcy was the impending outcome for more and more of the biggest, most powerful, most concentrated-ownership capitalists, who owned more machine capital, hence more vulnerability to this technological obsolescence depreciation, that was being driven by the pursuit of capitalist profit itself – driven by the core nature of capitalism itself.

It thus seemed, to many of the biggest, most-threatened capitalists, we hold, that “their” system had turned against them.

Some of them therefore turned against the capitalist system itself, once the system that served them, their wealth, their power, their prestige most of all, but now the system that they felt had “betrayed” them.

They ordered their ‘hired liars’ – the best “intellectuals” that their money could buy -- to spew forth new ideologies that would assist them in their attack on competitive capitalism and on its representative democracy and civil liberties, so as to help them to suppress and reverse this accelerated growth in industrial, machine productivity.

Anti-progress ideologies -- Social Darwinism, Malthusianism, Eugenics, Fascism, and, eventually, “Small is Beautiful”, ‘Negative ["Zero"] Economic Growth’, ‘Negative ["Zero"] Population Growth’, and “People Are Pollution” mass-murderous Environmentalist ideologies, plus all manner of other hideous doctrines, poured forth from the richly-endowed publishers and mobilized mass media owned by this nightmare faction -- polluting humanity’s mind-space, degenerating humanity’s hopes for progress, and attempting to destroy humanity’s morale.

Matters grew even more threatening for this nightmare faction as the industrial ‘capital-praxis’, by its nature, naturally began to spread, to the "semi-periphery" of the capitalist core – the core originally consisting of the U.K., France, Holland, Belgium, and, a little later, the U.S. – threatening accelerated industrial productivity growth in that semi-periphery – e.g., in Germany, Italy, Russia, China, India, South Africa, Argentina, Spain, and Portugal – where wages were still low, and where the most advanced vintages of production machinery could be installed first, averting the legacy of 'obsoleted', scrapped, but still debt-service demanding, industrial capital equipment that plagued the profitability of the largest capitalists of that capitalist geographical core.

By exporting advanced-machinery-produced industrial consumer goods, etc., into the countries of that core – goods whose prices were dropping like later computer chips dropped, but due to lower wages as well as to increasing productivity in the "semi-periphery" – these new “upstarts” could bankrupt the biggest capitalists of the core, losing for those “biggest of the big” the wealth, the power, the prestige, and the hyper-perverted “perks” that the core capitalists of the nightmare faction valued above all else, and were willing to commit mass murder to keep.

So that core’s nightmare faction – of course using working class money, and lower capitalist class money, via the 1913 income tax and “Federal” Reserve acts – set up military dictatorships all over the "semi-periphery", to suppress industrialization there, in return for all of the “perks” that the nightmare faction could lavish upon those dictatorships – their ‘servant-dictators’ – via all of that tax money, which, before the Roosevelt faction’s – the anti-nightmare faction’s – reforms, was of little benefit, to say the least, to the majority class, working class taxpayers. These nightmare faction ‘servant-dictatorships’ helped that faction to reverse and destroy the incipient industrializations in that "semi-periphery", and to turn that "semi-periphery" into a ‘de-capital-ized’, ‘‘‘de-industrialized’’’ “Third World” hell-realm.

But problems began to burgeon for this nightmare faction plan to block ‘technodepreciation’ of their concentrated capital assets, launched against them from an industrializing "semi-periphery", as well as other measures that they used to suppress domestic “upstart” innovators in the core itself, such as, later on, Preston Tucker, Philo Farnsworth, and Dr. Robert Bussard [and, lately, Elon Musk].

The nightmare faction was unable to entirely block all advanced public health practices and advanced medical care technology from seeping in to their “Third World” hell-holes, a seepage driven by the compassion of humans in the ‘‘‘First World’’’, who donated and participated in such public health initiatives.

The, nightmare-faction-engineered, high rates of infant mortality and adult death began lowering in their “Third World” as a result. And population growth thus began to burgeon there.

In suppressing capitalist industrialization in their “Third World” "dark ages" zones, the nightmare faction had also suppressed “The Demographic Transition” – the impact of a high-productivity, money-based economy on human reproduction rates: the most powerful “contraception device” ever known to humankind.

The incentive for “Third World” families, where nothing resembling “social security” was ever allowed by them, was to have many children, so as to provide agricultural labor, and so that some of their children would survive into adulthood, to provide for their parents' old age security.

The nightmare faction began to realize that, by maintaining their “third World” living conditions in utter, pre-industrial misery and squalor, they were driving “Third World” populations to burgeon, in effect recruiting massive ‘Mao-oid’ guerilla armies of peasants, who threatened to overthrow – and often did overthrow – their vicious ‘servant-dictatorships’, and that also, thereby, increasingly threatened that nightmare faction’s rule even in the capitalist core itself.

Worse still, for the ruling, nightmare faction's "interests" -- but of great happiness for the rest of humanity -- their 'servant-dictatorships' eventually crumbled, over most of the "semi-periphery". Thereby, in Brazil, in South Africa, in India, and even in state-capitalist Russia, where a somewhat less severe dictatorship, no longer so subservient to the nightmare faction, emerged after 1989, and in the state-capitalist, but pro-industrialization, pro-productive-forces-growth, post-Mao-oid dictatorship of China, vast new, democracy-demanding middle-working-classes were rising.

All of this threatened the nightmare faction with the prospect of an, increasingly global, democratic revolution, and an advanced-technological-evolution-driven wave of 'technodepreciation' -- together constituting the nightmare faction's own worst nightmare, but portending a brighter future for the rest of humanity.

The nightmare faction’s “solution”? – propagate and globally implement “People Are Pollution” Environmentalism, ‘Global-Warmism’, and a ‘Global Warming Austerity’ global pogrom, to make life – e.g., monthly energy bills, etc., etc. -- unaffordable for the majority, and to use that unaffordability to explode global homelessness, so as to set the stage for their now planned “95%” human population extermination, with "a little help" from global, gain-of-function-engineered global germ warfare against the majority of humanity, and perhaps, after that "full dress rehearsal", via Eric Pianca's genomically engineered, aerosol-contagious, globally-distributed EBOLA VIRUS.

That brings us up to date.

All of this is a “lawful” consequence of the innate, capitalism-driven, profit-motive-driven, productive-force-growth-driven, ‘techno-depreciation’-driven ‘‘‘law of the tendency of the rate of profit-return on capital to fall’’’ -- which is the built-in, self-negating, self-DIS-organizing tendency of the capitalist, initially "self-organizing", system.
