GLOBAL STRATEGIC HYPOTHESES.

Dear Reader,

Competitive markets, including for “consumer goods”, constitute a crucial economic form of the “checks and balances” that also militate against tyranny generally.

Producing goods under – a state-capitalist – government monopoly, even if based upon some kind of “democratic planning”, is a recipe for “hell-on-Earth” horrors in regard to products’ affordability and quality, and in regard to customer service quality, or, more accurately, in regard to a total and nightmarish lack of the latter.

Such markets are not, viably, to beabstract-negated’ in the transition to Equitism, we hold, but, on the contrary, are to be «aufheben»-conserved in that transition, if a viable and improved outcome vis-à-vis capitalism is to be achieved.

In the ‘Equitist’ constitutional model that we have proposed, the ‘Citizenship Stewardship Equity Human Right’-based socialized producers’ cooperatives, if they produce, under democratic self-management, in commensurate markets, must pit their goods-output against one another, and against that of remaining capitalist companies, in market contexts, if the buyers in those markets are to be well-served.

The producers’ cooperative Citizen-Stewards will take home compensation for both hours worked therein, and for shares of the net operating surplus of their co-ops, which would otherwise accrue, as profits, to, e.g., absentee, non-worker capital equity stock owners, in the context of capitalist companies.

That dual compensation of Citizen Steward’s will be in return for their (1) offering a quality product, at a competitive price, to the buyers in their markets, and for their (2) paying a monthly ‘Social Rent’ in return for the usufruct of their means of production – Social Properties, loaned to them to enable them to produce what and as they see fit, constrained by the covenants agreed to with their sponsoring ‘Social Bank’ co-ops, and by sufficient demand for their products from their market(s) to sustain them as going concerns, with their ‘Social Rents’ as well as their other expense paid out of the revenues from the market sales of their output.

However, this does not mean that market competition in an ‘Equitist’ political-economic democracy will remain the same as market competition in a degenerate, descendence-phase, capitalist pseudo-representative pseudo-democracy.

It does not mean that the conservation moment of the «aufheben»-process, with respect to capitalist competition and capitalist markets, will be able to escape its combination with the elevation and with the determinate-negation moments of that «aufheben»-process.

We expect ‘Equitist’ market buyer-participants will increasingly not base their purchase-decisions solely on product price and product quality; that such decisions will take on ‘Patreonic’ considerations.

We expect that considerations of their affinity with, the broader purposes of, and the mission of their favorite co-op “brands” will increasingly figure in their purchase decisions.

This is because, in general, the Stewardship co-ops will be advancing the cause of increasing producer incomes, producer democratic enterprise management, and producer grassroots power, overcoming the abjection of the wage-labor, capitalists-dependent and capitalists-abused proletarian existence, in the transition to Equitist political-economic democracy’.

We suspect that the majority class will increasingly prefer to ‘vote with their money’ for such co-ops, which measure up, over ‘voting’ for capitalist companies, albeit with similar product prices and product qualities.

The majority class, we expect, will, by that transition to Equitism, have the wherewithal to do so  via incomes increased by Citizen Stewardship Equity dual earnings, via their Citizen Birthright Equity’ social trust funds, and via other majority-class benefits of that Equitist transition, to mitigate their former dire, immiserated necessity, of purchasing based almost upon price alone.  National societies will no longer be run for the benefit of the degenerate, descendence-phase capitalist ruling class ruling faction alone, and per their preparations for global, exterminationist humanocide against the global majority class.

The non-profits” phenomenon – the, relatively-recent, since the late 1800s, capitalist phenomenon of not-for-profit corporations – is, in key ways, ‘protoic’ to such a metamorphosis of markets.

Non-profits are, classically, a form of trans-capitalism still within the predominance of the capital social relation of social reproduction, along with worker-owned co-ops themselves [see Marx’s comments thereupon, to this effect, in Capital, volume III], which first appeared a bit before the mid-1800s.

They are motivated, not by the profit-motive of capitalist activity – although they may be motivated, in part, by the money-income motives of their owners and paid workers – but based upon social, civic-values-based, «pro bono publico» [for the good of the public] motives.

Their work force often consists more of unpaid volunteers than of salaried employees – volunteers motivated, at least in part, by the collective, social, public goods that such non-profits produce.  Even their salaried employees often work for sub-standard salaries or wages, motivated, in part, by their will to participate in creating the social, collective benefits that these non-profits produce.

Their ‘‘‘markets’’’ are their civic-values-based supporters, who donate the funds by which such non-profit enterprises principally persist.  The goods and services that such non-profits produce are often given freely to the public, or charge merely nominal fees or prices, that do not cover the entire cost of their production.

Enough people – contemporary proletarians in the main – have been able to eke-out enough income and enough free time, as well, to donate to and/or to work in, as volunteers, these kinds of non-profits, despite everything that the degenerate ruling faction of the descendence-phase, anti-productive-forces, humanocidal capitalist ruling class, e.g., the ‘F*ckerfeller Faction’, has been able to do, to try to immiserate, on the way to exterminating, “95%” of the majority class.
